I'm Halyna. I use my camera to freeze the moment - when people laugh, play, dream, and are simply enjoying life and their presence in it. Photography, for me, is a way to show people how beautiful they are in exactly those unguarded moments.
Why I do this
I want people to see themselves the way I see them through the lens: alive, present, unposed. A photo that catches someone mid-laugh or mid-daydream says more about who they are than any perfectly staged portrait ever could - and I want to be the person who hands that back to them.
How I work
Feeling comfortable matters more than anything else during a session. So instead of posing people, I build in little activities that let them just be - playing with their kids, painting, running with a kite on the beach, dancing. The best photos happen when people forget I'm there and get lost in what they're doing.
Fun Facts about me
Not sure if "fun" is the right word here:)
but I always wanted to do photography, and life kept putting other priorities first.
One day I realized life is short, and if not now, when. So I picked up the camera and started.
